I painted this scene with egg tempera. At first I meant to paint the colors with oil colors on this tempera layer, but now I like it like this and I am not so sure if I should add colors or leave it like this.

The painting is based on a photo I took years ago in a town in Finland.

Is that a really small dog? He seems so tiny against the the backdrop of the scene. It's a great image. I like how it's so busy behind (visually) him, but right where he is standing it's calm. I don't think you should add any color, but if you do, just alittle and be very careful where.

lol just kidding, this is really amazing.
the sunlight looks so authentic..wow.
only crit is the dog..i dont like the fact that he is centered at the bottom of the picture... but regardless, you have a really good hand for painting..this is great work.

Some of the light fall, shadows and light diffusion looks very real here, very nice indeed. The dog maybe looks a *little* stuck on. Nice job on the whole though.
